RECURRING EVENTS

  • Winter Texan Appreciation Day - Aransas County Airport. Refreshments, special presentations, door prizes and entertainment. Free and open to the public.

  • Fulton Oysterfest - Fulton Harbor Navigation Park. A salute to the oyster industry. Entertainment, food, arts, crafts, carnival, parade, men’s and women’s oyster eating contests, oyster shucking and oyster decorating contests. Fireworks on opening night. Visit www.fultonoysterfest.org.

  • Easter Sunrise Services - Rockport Beach Park Bandshell. Nondenominational service with pastors from areas churches. Bring lawn chairs.
  • Rockport Cultural Art Districts’ Annual Kite Festival - Festival Grounds. Free family event; open to the public.

  • July 4 activities. Patriotic boat parade at noon, view from Broadway adjacent to Little Bay. Wendell Family Fireworks Show around 9:30 p.m.

  • Fulton Music in the Park - The Pavilion at Fulton Harbor Park. Every Friday, weather permitting. 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm.

  • Rockport Tropical Christmas - Rockport Harbor Festival Grounds. Food, vendors, arts and crafts, entertainment, games and Santa Claus. Festivities include illuminated land parade, lighting of Christmas tree and fireworks. Hosted by Rockport Downtown and Harbor Area. Call (361) 727-2158.
  • Christmas Tour of Historic Homes. Tour select Rockport and Fulton private homes and historic venues. Docents decked out in vintage attire entertain and educate, explaining the history of the homes. Visit www.aransashistorycenter.org.

  • Caroling at the Mansion - Fulton Mansion. Sing-along of carolers by candlelight outside of the mansion.
